A wedding is essentially the joining of two. If you Google ‘supercouples’ you will find some pretty famous duos. Brangelina, Bennifer, TomKat, the Spork. Ok so the spork falls into a slightly different category but none the less a great duo. Then there is my most recent couple – The Sparkleys. Combine Amy and Cheryls last names and you get something pretty freaking amazing. It definitely suits their personalities and on April 27, 2013 it was a reflection of their love. In case your wondering, Sparkley is the combination of their last names – Spencley and Clarke.
It was about 5 or 6 years ago at a social event held by Notso Amazon Softball League that Cheryl and Amy met. Karaoke – I need not say more. That’s one of those things that never ends well and the stories last a lifetime. That being said – it’s always fun!
That brings us to their wedding day. With the sun shining, smiling faces, and the cutest little venue setting the backdrop, how could it not be anything but beautiful. Enoch Turner Schoolhouse has been around since the 1800’s and is an important part of Toronto’s history. It’s not just a cute wedding venue it’s one of the cities oldest buildings and has been used as a school, Parish hall, war recruitment center and a soup kitchen. Who wouldn’t want to add their own piece of history to such a building. As friends and family looked on, the two beautiful women tied the knot. From start to finish the day went perfectly and could only be a glimpse into the rest of their lives together.
Congrats ladies – can’t wait to capture more of your special moments.
