My favourite thing to capture is love. Someone once asked me why I take so many pictures of people when there are so many other things like trees and animals to capture. It wasn’t until a few years later that I found a quotethat said something about ‘You can tell what a person loves by what they photograph the most’. Don’t know the exact wording or who said it but you get the idea. That’s when I took a closer look at what I was doing and realized I love –love. It can mean so many different things to different people. Including me. I love a lot of things. Some I probably shouldn’t admit so freely. Michael Bolton, socks, my dog, my husband, lip gloss (more of an addiction), cookie dough, cake batter, Jr Whoppers, rock and roll.....I could go on forever. I have two daughters who make me smile every minute of every day. They are totally additive!!! I take 200 pictures a day of them and fully intend on pulling them out for future boyfriends. I enjoy fresh air and really appreciate mother nature even though she can be a pain in the butt. I write how I speak even though it may not always be grammatically correct. DIY makes me smile. I’m Irish and the worst beer drinker around. I have a photography bucket list that you should check out and see if anything peaks your interest. I want everything in life to be fun. I’m a firm believer in the phrase ‘We are our own worst critic’ so despite how we feel about ourselves and our abilities I stand firm with that saying. My goal for this year (andthe rest of my life) is to take more photos of myself and my family and be less behind the camera and more in front. Long after the memory fades these images will be there to remind us of what we have and had. Without photos how would you remember that horrible hair cut you had when you were 8 or your first day of school. Oh and this is why I love my camera!!! Live, Laugh, Love is the best way to sum it all up. There is fun in everything you just need to find it.
