RedCrest Clubhouse might just be my new fave venue. Weddings are certainly one of my favourite things to photograph. Just about everything you could want in life can be found at these events. Love, family, babies, food, alcohol, love, love and more love. When Christina told me she was getting married at this venue, the first thing I thought was ‘Perfect, it’s close to home – love when that happens’. Then when I went online I realized not only was it close to home but it was a a really nice venue. It wasn’t until I went to see the location that I realized what a little gem it was. Golf clubs all become a blur after a while. I’m not a golfer by any means so maybe that’s why they all seem the same. It wasn’t until I spoke to the onsite coordinator and went for a little joyride in the golf cart, that I truly fell in love with the place.
I’m always looking for cool spots to take bridal portraits and new ways to spin the classic shots. Everyone wants unique photos and I love that part of the challenge. That little joyride on the golf cart had me so inspired with ideas. Who knew a golf course had so many stunning places to shoot. Yes there was a barn. I do love me a good barn. I might actually have an obsession. It was just my luck that this course had one. You know what they say, location, location location! Now that I think of it, Christina and Chris’ engagement photos are up there on my favourites list. I had a beautiful/fun couple and sweet locations. Photographers dream!
The sun was shining on these two and hopefully an indication of all the beauty that lies ahead of them. Such a great couple and I was so happy to be a part of their day.
Huge thank you do the staff at RedCrest for being so awesome.
