Wedding photography covers a few of my favourite things. Love, parties, dancing, cake….I could go on.
November is not known for being warm and it was just my luck that my wedding photography course fell on one of the coldest weekends. Tara McMullen www.taramcmullen.com guided us through the business side and showed us some techniques that have made her so successful. Working with natural light can be tricky if you don’t know how to work with it. The sun can be your friend or your worst enemy. Who better to learn the tricks than someone who has made it their signature.
The Distillery District was used as the backdrop for our session but we were forced to stay indoors most of the time. Not a lot of sunshine on this chilly day. Thanks to Daniella for baring the cold so we could get some photos outside. The lights and decorations were gorgeous and it would have been a shame not to get a couple shots with them.
